Hi, I’m Rehab Sobhi—wedding and portrait photographer based in the Philadelphia suburbs, serving PA, NJ, and NY. My photography journey began in 2019 when I picked up my first camera to capture my sister’s bridal shower. That moment sparked something deeper, and I haven’t looked back since.
My love for photography started long before that moment. I was always the one asking for photo albums wherever we went and taking photos of my loved ones, whether there was an occasion or not. Over time, that love turned into a passion—one that has grown into a heartfelt pursuit of documenting life’s most meaningful moments.
Now, a little about me beyond the camera! My birth name is Rehab, but my business name, Rubyz, came from a 3-year-old’s version of my childhood nickname—and it stuck. I’m a middle child, a black belt in karate, kindergarten teacher, and a sunglass collector. I’m obsessed with anything caramel, and my therapy is long drives with music blasting and the wind in my face.
My approach
To me, photography is more than just taking beautiful pictures—it’s about capturing the heart of a moment and the soul of the people in it. Whether it’s the quiet, emotional moments during bridal prep or the joyful chaos on the dance floor, I’m there to preserve the essence of your day with care, creativity, and intention.
Weddings are my greatest passion. I love everything about them—from the intricate details to the raw, unfiltered emotions. My goal is to create timeless, elegant, heartfelt images that let you relive the love, the laughter, and even the tears, over and over again.
My background in photography and post-production means I approach each shoot with both an artistic eye and technical precision. I’m a perfectionist at heart, and that shows in the way I frame each shot, capture genuine emotion, and edit your photos to be both polished and natural.
